Google Hosts Sneak Peek of $600M Data Center in Midlothian, TX

J|C’s David Leslie and Paul Richey celebrate the development of a $600 million data center alongside Google executives and Midlothian community leaders on 6/14.

On June 14th, Google hosted a sneak peek of its new $600 million data center, which is being built in Midlothian, Texas 25 miles south of Dallas. Late in 2018, the news broke that the mega-search engine company was the procurer of 375 acres in the Railport Business Park. This groundbreaking event was attended by local, state, and national political delegates. Jones|Carter team member David Leslie and was also in attendance.

Community leaders and collaborators made their mark on the Google beam which will be used in the construction of the project.

Jones|Carter is proud to be a part of the development. Our team was responsible for relocating critical infrastructure, including drainage and utilities, to create sufficient buildable space for the development.
