PROJECT OVERVIEW
T3 Eastside, an innovative heavy timber office building, is reshaping the norms of modern workplaces in Austin. Quiddity was pivotal in crafting a sustainably constructed structure, anchored by eco-friendly wood. Featuring a fitness center, rooftop patio, conference room, and LEED pre-certification, T3 Eastside is raising the bar for environmentally conscious and inspiring workspaces. Additionally, with 15 residential units and an underground parking garage, it further enhances its versatile and inspirational environment.
SERVICE DETAILS
In our civil engineering role for the T3 ATX Eastside project, we carefully planned and obtained permits for site development. We worked closely with the City of Austin to meet regulations. We also collaborated with the Austin Utility Location and Coordination Committee to prevent utility issues. Using a Unified Development Agreement helped us avoid certain procedures.
To navigate the city’s complexities, we secured License Agreements for legal aspects and integrated engineering solutions into the urban landscape. Our focus on sustainability included rain gardens and rainwater harvesting systems. We designed detention ponds and storm manholes to manage water flow and prevent flooding, enhancing the project’s green credentials.
By using the Fast Track permitting process, we expedited critical construction phases, showcasing our team’s agility. Throughout the project, our team prioritized precision, sustainability, and proactive problem-solving, setting a new benchmark for urban development in Austin.
