The Jones|Carter team ranked on two 2020 Engineering News-Record (ENR) Top Design Firm lists. Nationally, our team ranked #158 on ENR’s 2020 Top 500 Design Firms – moving up nine spots from last year; while on the regional level, our team ranked #23 out of 110 on the ENR Texas & Louisiana Top Design Firms of 2020. 

Both lists ranked companies based on revenue from design services performed in 2019, with subcategories in various market sectors such as master-planned development, water resources, and transportation. Jones|Carter has been consistently ranked on ENR’s Top Design Firms lists nationally, regionally, and within specific market sectors as we’ve experienced record growth in many of the recent years. 

Bagby Street reconstruction was our largest project to break ground in 2019. Our team is leading the final design efforts for the street’s complete reconstruction. Vehicular travel lanes are being reduced to accommodate for wider pedestrian and bicycle facilities, including a raised cycle track– the first of its kind in Houston.
