PROJECT OVERVIEW
Developed by Journeyman Group, the High Point Preserve is an award-nominated premier multifamily project in northeast Austin. Nestled beside the 20-mile-long Walnut Creek Hike and Bike Trail in northeast Austin, this Class A garden-style community spans 70 acres and encompasses 454 units. In collaboration with the Travis County Housing Finance Corporation, it caters to the NE Austin submarket with an array of affordable, income-restricted apartments, ranging from efficiencies to one, two, and three-bedroom residences. The property also boasts a suite of amenities, including a fitness center, sports courts, grilling stations, clubhouse, two resort-style pools, and a dog park.
SERVICE DETAILS
Quiddity provided full surveying services, civil site construction plans, and permitting for the project. The existing site was heavily wooded with wetlands and onsite floodplain which presented challenging grading and drainage design. Quiddity worked with the client, Journeyman Group, City of Austin Development Services Department, and Travis County to maximize the developable footprint while maintaining adequate parkland and wetland preservation measures.
