PROJECT OVERVIEW
Our team worked with the Montgomery County Municipal Utility District No.3 to design and build a new wastewater treatment plant to meet the demands of a growing population in Montgomery, Texas. The new plant utilized the anaerobic/anoxic/oxic (A2) treatment process for biological nutrient removal. Our team also constructed an orthophosphate analyzer and alum feed system, which acts as a backup to the BNR and assists the process during hot weather and spikes in phosphorous.
Our team also designed the plant to include a new electrical system, a 600-kilowatt diesel generator, a 2,000-gallon fuel tank, and a control building.
