PROJECT OVERVIEW

The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) replaced an outdated pool facility at its Recreation Wellness Center. The new facility sits on a 2.31-acre plot and offers UTSA students a new 60,000-gallon leisure pool and an 8-lane lap pool. Students can also peruse the new sidewalks, take in new landscaping, play in the sand volleyball pit and rest under shaded structures.

SERVICE DETAILS

The site required several improvements, including the demolition of the existing pools, landscape, hardscape, and drainage. Our team coordinated with the consultant team to ensure project deadlines were met during the schematic design, design development, and construction documents phases. Our team also oversaw the budget, prepared civil specifications and provided Water Pollution Prevention Plan (WPAP) research and coordination with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ).
