Abdel Hamed, PE, Vice President

Abdel Hamed, PE, joins Quiddity’s San Antonio office as Vice President, bringing over 33 years of civil engineering expertise in the water and public works sectors. Abdel has led major projects in design, permitting, construction management, and regulatory compliance, working with prominent clients like SAWS, the City of San Antonio, and the San Antonio River Authority. Known for his ability to balance cost-efficiency and timely project delivery, Abdel’s background includes extensive experience in water systems, pipeline projects, and facility improvements, with a unique perspective from his time as a contractor.

In addition to his technical proficiency, Abdel has been recognized for his leadership in managing multidisciplinary teams and aligning project objectives with client goals. His deep understanding of public infrastructure needs, combined with a results-oriented approach, has earned him a reputation for delivering projects that meet stringent standards and community needs alike.

In his new role, Abdel will lead project execution and business development for public sector water initiatives, supporting Quiddity’s expansion in south-central Texas. Abdel holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&I University and multiple TCEQ licenses, including Class B Wastewater Operator and On-site Sewage Facility Site Evaluator.
