PROJECT OVERVIEW
Caldwell County identified multiple thoroughfares in need of improvements due to years of wear and tear. Old Fentress Road (CR 217), Westwood Road (CR 215), Schuelke Road (CR 222), and Cherryville Parkway in Caldwell County near Lockhart, Texas each required pavement improvements and upgraded safety features to improve the condition of these roadways for the community and to reduce the need for future maintenance.
SERVICE DETAILS
Our team led the development of two plan, specs & estimates (PS&E) packages for the four roadways. Both packages included survey, plan and profile layouts, control phasing, typical sections, culvert crossings and storm water pollution prevention plans (SWPPP). Our team also assisted with the letting process for advertising, opening, evaluation and recommendation in addition to working with Caldwell County to ensure TxDOT’s Local Government Project Procedures (LGPP) were followed.
