PROJECT OVERVIEW
Hardy Yards is a 50-acre mixed-use development north of Downtown Houston. The former Union Pacific Railroad rail yard was redeveloped into a mixed-use, transit-oriented community. The development is within walking distance of the Burnet Street light rail station and currently features a 350-unit, mixed-income, mixed-use apartment community.
SERVICE DETAILS
Redeveloping the railyard required a range of improvements, including modifications to the Hernandez tunnel along North Main, reconstruction of the North Main/ Burnett intersection, upsizing drainage and upgrading the water and sanitary sewer systems. Our team assisted with public meetings, coordinated with the client’s landscape architect and managed project consultants. Our team also provided a range of construction services, including coordinating with utility companies, providing daily inspection and reports and coordinating materials testing.
