PROJECT OVERVIEW

The Quiddity site development team was contracted by McRight-Smith to perform civil engineering and surveying services for a medical office building in Prosper, Texas.  Quiddity worked with Town of Prosper staff to determine the best solutions for both the town and the developer. The project was successful, with construction having started in March 2020 and finished at the start of 2021. Quiddity is excited to see to see this initial development usher in a much-needed area of retail and commercial developments, as well as provide local medical resources and options for the booming population.

SERVICE DETAILS

Quiddity prepared the preliminary site plan, final site plan, preliminary plat, final plat, and civil construction drawings; however, the project site presented some interesting challenges. The existing site sheet flows towards the adjacent future developments, which will require detention. Quiddity designed the site grading to sheet flow all surface drainage to the adjacent property and designed a drainage ditch to carry the flow around the edge of the adjacent property. Additionally, detailed drainage calculations were prepared to prove downstream drainage structures contained adequate capacity for the interim stage until the future detention was constructed.
