Woodforest Plaza is a 30,000-square-foot retail facility off FM 1488 in Magnolia, TX. Located in front of the Westwood subdivision, the plaza houses more than 10-retail and medical spaces including a hair salon, a family physician’s office, a Woodforest Bank, and a dentist’ss office.
Site drainage was a crucial element of the project due to on-site detention discharging into the right-of-way of 1488. To resolve this issue, our team installed an underground detention basin below the parking lot. We also relocated power, cable, and telephone lines in addition to replatting the tract from five plots into one, conducting a feasibility study, and providing survey services for the entire site.
