PROJECT OVERVIEW
500 West 2nd Street, previously Block 23, is optimally located in the heart of the thriving 2nd street district overlooking Lady Bird Lake. As part of the Greenwater Redevelopment, the site was previously home to the Thomas Green Water Treatment Facility before being transformed into what is commonly referred to as “The Google Building”. The building is a 30-story, 450,00-square foot office tower with four levels of underground parking and 12 levels of above-ground parking, and features the first elevator dispatch system in Austin, utilizing new technology to optimize tenant experiences. Within the tower, there is a restaurant, retail area, 16-floors of office space, as well as other additional amenities. Google has been a tenant of the office space since the building opened in 2017.
SERVICE DETAILS
We provided full civil site design and permitting services for the building which also has a LEED Gold certification. Our team also provided surveying services as well as grading and utility coordination services.
