Gao has more than 18 years of experience in surface water and hydraulic modeling. As a Hydrology & Hydraulics Senior Project Engineer, he has worked on numerous complex floodplain and drainage modeling-related projects. Gao also has extensive experience in preparing drainage impact analyses and computer modeling for 1 or 2-D flood evaluations using a range of software. After solving computer modeling issues, Gao analyzes and designs drainage facilities, and proposes unique drainage improvement systems to existing flood hazard conditions.
